DESIGN

From user flow to polished UI

Understand how the users play the music

My role focused on the tablet’s music exploration experience, where I designed the complete UX/UI flow to help users intuitively navigate, discover, and enjoy music through a visually rich interface.

Mapped the user flow and anticipated user actions at each step.

Wireframe the music experience

Translated the user flow into clear, structured wireframes.

Apply Riot Game brand guidelines to visual design

Collaborated closely with the senior UI designer to translate Riot Games’ brand guidelines into polished, high-fidelity interfaces.

REFLECTION

Designing the music installation for Riot Games was an exciting challenge. Seeing guests interact with it on the Shanghai Bund was deeply rewarding. As the project designer, I was proud of the teamwork and the final result.

Collaboration with multiple team roles

I worked closely with producers, animators, and designers through WeChat, Slack, Zoom, and Figma. Frequent discussions with clients, like translating Chinese song names, required quick design updates and strong communication across disciplines.

Working on a tight schedule

With only two weeks from strategy to launch, I learned to balance quality and speed. Regular check-ins and early submissions ensured smooth feedback and timely delivery.

Refining design precision

Riot Games’ strict brand standards pushed me to deliver pixel-perfect work. This experience sharpened my attention to detail and elevated my visual design skills under tight deadlines.
